The Missouri Community College Association (MCCA) announces the search for Executive Director/CEO.  The MCCA is an individual and institutional membership organization which serves the educational needs of the citizens of the state of Missouri by offering educational leadership through the state’s community colleges.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Experience working with colleges or universities in an administrative or faculty role.
  • State-Wide experience with educational issues.
  • Familiarity with and understanding of the community college mission.
  • Demonstrated communications skills, both interpersonal and written.
  • Grant writing and/or grant supervision experience.
  • Understanding of and experience with state and national political processes.
  • Associate management experience.
  • Convention planning experience.
  • Demonstrated management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the state as an advocate for Missouri’s community colleges.
  • Experience with the development and implementation of annual budgets.

Projected Base Salary:  $80,000 - $100,000 per year. (Salary and benefits package will be negotiated upon selection to the position)
